100 Classic Hikes in Northern California, third edition. Seattle: The Mountaineers Books, 2008. In print for over 20 years, this “classic” guide has sold nearly 50,000 copies. The fourth edition will be out in 2018.
75 Hikes in California’s Mount Shasta and Lassen Volcanic National Park Regions, revised edition. Seattle: The Mountaineers Books, 2006. Also in print for over 20 years, this regional guide will be updated and expanded into The Mountaineers Books’ popular Day Hiking series, with a 2018 publication date.
What Can You Do? A book aimed at college students and other young people, it contains hundreds of ideas for conserving energy, using fewer resources, and minimizing ecological footprints.
Thinking Globally, Acting Locally. Another book primarily for college students. It details the many ways college students can get involved in the political process from the local level to the international level.
Internet Guide for History. One of the first books designed to help people find specific information on a specific subject on the Internet, it guides history scholars, students, and enthusiasts through the best processes to find accurate information about the past.
Writing College Textbook Supplements, second edition. This ebook provides all the key information a talented freelance writer with an academic bent needs to succeed in creating supplemental materials for college-level textbooks: student study guides, instructor’s manuals, test and quiz questions, lecture outlines, website materials, and much more.
